Claims investigation and Surveillance Service Rates:
Our standard hourly rate for
investigation and surveillance work on insurance-related cases and
cases for self funded risk management is $75 per hour. Local travel
and reporting time is billed at the same rate as operational
time. The hourly rate includes all clerical costs.
Automatic Volume Discount:
An
automatic volume discount
applies, based on the volume of work received from the client
company during the preceding month.
Multiple Cases Received and
Worked Together:
Additionally, when handling a
large number of cases from one client at the same time, we have
developed an extremely cost-effective method of scheduling.
For instance, recently while handling a series of over thirty
workers' compensation retiree update cases, the total cost for each
case (including all expenses) was slightly less than $100, even on
the cases located approximately 200 miles from our office.

If it is calculated that the case would have been less costly on an
hourly basis, taking into account proration with other matters, this

(Includes one visit to the
claimant's neighborhood to conduct inquiries. In the event no
interviewees are available, a telephone data base search will be
conducted and a follow up will be attempted by telephone.)
Basics Plus--$200
(Includes a [personal] search
of the local circuit court criminal case index and civil litigation
index, including a review and recap of up to three cases, followed
by one visit to the claimant's neighborhood for inquiries. In
the event no interviewees are available, a telephone data base
search will be conducted and a follow up will be attempted by
telephone.)
