Only Travel Expenses Apply on Electronic Countermeasures Work
Electronic Countermeasures:
All electronic countermeasure work is quoted on an individual basis taking into account the location of the residence or facility, the square footage, the number of lines and instruments, the specific sweeps requested and the frequency of services.
A typical single-family residence with one phone line and two instruments located reasonably close to our office would run in the $600 - $800 range, including a check of the client's vehicle for clandestine tracking devices.
A general rule of thumb for larger research facilities, businesses, offices and law firms on a one-time service basis is $1 per square foot, plus $100 per phone or fax line and $100 per instrument, with either standard or computer based systems. In physically secure facilities, instrument checks are usually unnecessary.
Rates for clients with ongoing needs are reduced as much as 50% and high risk businesses with annual contracts for monthly services save as much as 75% over one time rates. Reduced rates also apply for clients who regularly use other Loss Prevention Concepts, Ltd. Services and to investigative agencies referring work for their clients.
