(3.) Countermeasures referrals from licensed private investigation firms throughout the United States and debugging services handled as a part of a more comprehensive operation being provided by such investigative firms for their clients. Most investigative agencies do not have the technical expertise or the costly equipment necessary for countermeasures, but work with us to provide a broader range of services for their clients. (4.) Services for high profile personalities in the entertainment and political spectrum, who have reason to suspect their privacy has been compromised--or during a critical period such as during a media feeding frenzy. An example here would be a movie or television star with real or media-created domestic problems. (5.) Reputable manufacturers, trucking firms, businesses and unions involved in contract negotiations. We have provided this service for both business management and labor unions so negotiators are able to conduct strategy meetings in an environment they know to be secure. (6.) Onetime service for businesses or law firms where a break-in occurred and nothing was taken, or a similar unusual event occurred--or when it appears confidential information is being mysteriously leaked. (7.) Electronic sweeps subsequent to an open house or similar event when a normally secure area has been accessed by outsiders. One example would be law firms specializing in controversial matters where a normal high level of security has been compromised during an annual open house or seasonal party. (8.) Services during periods of domestic difficulties, marital difficulties, during divorce actions or where there is a concern involving a stalker. An example here would be a female, whose spouse has moved out, but somehow still seems to know of all her activities. In these cases we also check the client's vehicle for clandestine tracking devices. Prospects We Reject: We will not knowingly accept work from clients involved with organized crime or persons involved in any criminal enterprise. We will not provide services to persons we believe are mentally or emotionally disturbed resulting in paranoia without basis. Integrity: Debugging is an unregulated business in most parts of the world. Countermeasures equipment is expensive and training is time consuming. In Michigan, we are only aware of two other companies which provide this service and both are professional and ethical. Others, however, may provide an illusion of service using a $200 field strength meter or similar device. In some parts of the U. S. there are some unscrupulous technicians who, while capable of finding hidden transmitters at a client facility, may be more apt to plant one there for their own purposes. With the exception of clients with long term concerns interested in maintaining an ongoing high level of preventive security, we seldom recommend follow up sweeps. Conversely we are aware of one East Coast technician who generally always generates repeat business. This is probably because he always finds a hidden transmitter during his initial surveys. However, this is the same transmitter each time--the one he brings along with him, then shows to the client claiming to have found on premises. Objectives of Electronic Countermeasures: The goal of these technical surveys is to detect the presence of any clandestine transmission devices secreted at the target location, and to determine whether any telephone taps are in place.
