The International Association of Chiefs of Police, as the name implies, is primarily comprised of senior public sector police officials and federal agents from around the world. 

While most training provided by this organization is geared toward law enforcement, much of it relates to the private sector as well.

Members of this association, particularly those based overseas, have provided invaluable assistance, advice and expertise in the past on complicated investigative and security related matters.

The president of Loss Prevention Concepts, Ltd. is a former member of this association's Private Security Committee.
