The Michigan Council of Private Investigators is the trade association for private investigators licensed in the State of Michigan.

In addition to the regular monthly meetings, this organization holds frequent training seminars for its members.

Additionally, it assists newly licensed P.I.s and promotes the sharing of information and investigative resources among its members.  From time to time, this group becomes involved in legislative matters impacting the private investigation business and interfaces with similar associations in other states.

The president of Loss Prevention Concepts, Ltd. is a founding member of this organization.
