I am writing to you in faith and confidence, at great risk to myself and my partner as we have never met. Despite these obvious difficulties I remain positive that my faith in you has not been misplaced and that you will be able to assist me in the business endeavor that I am contacting you in regards to.  For this assistance you will of course be amply rewarded. Allow me to explain my current situation to you.

My name is Camooru Ego and I am the manager of the Lagos Head-Quarters of the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), a position I have held for four years now. As the manager of this Corporation one of my many duties involves making detailed investigations into the internal finances of all departments under my control, to ensure that the organisation runs effectively as a whole.

During the course of these investigations I have discovered that the accounts of the Research subdivision do not balance correctly. After a lengthy and detailed examination of the situation with my Head of Finance, Oluwani Babami , we came to the conclusion that there was approximately US$12.5 Million unclaimed surplus being held in an external fund. This had slowly accrued after a Research and Developement team had quit the organisation without sending the proper information to our human resources team and thus not caused the cance lation of their funding.

With this in mind my Finance Manager and I seek your confidential assistance in
holding this money for us. We wish to invest this money in your country and move both our families there. Thus we have transferred the money to the Apex
Bank of Nigera forex account, the platform from which we will arrange for the
money to be transferred to you. My partner and I have agreed to pay you 10% of the money, plus incidental expenses, in short $1.25 Million, while I and my partner will split the remaining amount as seems appropriate to us (we are close
friends and thus will likely invest together).

The transaction of course holds significant risk to us but we have endeavored to
ensure that you will be placed in no financial or legal risk and can guarantee
that the systems we have put in place for the transactions are 100% risk free.
All we need to do to complete the transaction is to present your particulars as
the beneficiary of the fund we have created and the payment will be arranged by
the bank in your favor.

Oluwani has informed me, after examining the systems used by the bank, that the transaction should occur in no longer than twelve working days from the date
that we provide them with your details.

I cannot stress to you enough how important it is to keep this transaction confidential, if any indication is given to the bank that the transaction may not be what it seems the funds could be frozen and a financial investigation begun upon us. I do not need to tell you how damaging these can be to our financial endeavors.

Let me know of your acceptance of our proposal and we can begin arranging for
the transfer to begin.

Warmest Regards,

Camooru Ego.
